Five days really isn't that long, when someone is in the hospital.

I'm sure John will drop us a line when he is able.

I'm sure that right now he has his hands full with everything that is going on.

I'm worried just like everyone else is, and I keep checking to see if he's posted since the original message (he hasn't).  But I agree, @Plaid Pants2, that he'll be in touch with us (or with the posters with whom I believe he shares email messages now and then) as soon as he can.
