Holy Cow!
It literally woke me up!
I'm in Dallas, but reports are coming in from Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska...all the way from North Dakota!
At this writing, they are saying the epicenter was Central Oklahoma.
A Level 5.6 Earthquake!!
Like I said..it literally shook me awake.
Thank god for Twitter. Lots of people reporting it.
Any of our Midwest/Southern posters feel it?

I'm sure it must of been scary. Alaska has its share of quakes, last big one was a 7.1 and I pray we don't feel one like that again.

I live in a high rise downtown Kansas City and my building shook and swayed! felt stronger thn a 5.6. My parrots freaked out and they never did this in an earthquake before. I was actually a little scared. It was 7:03am exactly. My poor parakeets were struggling to stay on their perches.

In Arlington here and I did not feel this... it is being felt as "all the way to Austin" but not us here... FYI

Last night, at around 8:30 p.m., we had a 5.6 magitude earthquake that was centered about 64 miles west of Ferndale, California, at a depth of 1.3 miles.
1.3 miles deep is shallow!
If it wasn't for being far away, I'm sure that it would have felt stronger, as it was, it just felt like slight swaying.

Bless your heart....you must have been dog-tired...deep asleep!!
On Twitter, someone from Denton is saying "my dogs were barking!"
Love how animals are so intuitive.

I'm in OKC and felt it big time! Heard it first, and then the house started shaking. It lasted a long time. Super scarey!
