No one knows the true and accurate reason they want her out of the apartment other than those involved. I am guessing it is about getting more rent from a future tenant. It surely isn’t about cookies. Evicting an 83 year old woman is heinous,

How do we know someone didn’t tell her to go on and take the rest of the milk since it was half empty anyway? Sounds plausible to me.

Am glad she has a family who can help her. Sounds like she need might require assisted living rather than moving back into her home...that may be why she moved to an apt, unable to maintain her home.

I have another idea.  Why don't people read the entire thread which, like in this one, adds new information re: the situation.  Several added other things she had been doing but later posters still thought she was being evected for cookie theft.
