Hi Annabellethecat!!!! How are you doing, hope you are healing and on the road to recovery.....Good to "see" you....
Was the $8.95 just on the Temptations order????.....I bet it was!!!! I needed a replacement item due to a defect on a piece, QVC told me to contact Temptations directly for a replacement as they had no more stock on the item I needed at QVC...So I contacted Temptations directly and explained the entire situation. And guess what, YES Temptations was going to charge me $9 shipping to/from to get me a replacement on a defective item!!!!! I told their CS Rep, Ill just throw my Temptations in the trash and make sure I always buy another brand, no more Temptations for me...!!!!! I bet thats what that situation was.....
Ive had no other charge on any QVC returns other than losing my original shipping when I used their return label....And if the item was defective QVC will even refund the original shipping .....

Glad to see you here & praying your health continues to improve🙂
As for your particular question. As someone who has ordered & returned Temptations the return fee is normally $8.95-10.95 (since they are heavier weight Q's label is still cheaper than PO).
Sometimes I just keep because it costs more in shipping to & return is almost the cost of the item🤦♀️
Since you said your daughter prefers another color but same item I would think you could use the Q Exchange Program. No return fees to exchange (to my knowledge).
I bought a Temptations set as a bridal shower gift and she didn't care for the color. Apparently, she contacted QVC to do exchange -- as the purchaser I did not get charged to my knowledge & neither did she for the exchange. Just be aware -- exchange took over a month.
Hope this explains it better. Just ask for exchange
and best wishes for continued good health💐

From the looks of this , it seems keeping the item is the cheapest solution . lt could be a gift , or donation , it would also be a nice gift for a sick person or new mom with the temptation piece filled with a nice tasty dish for their dinner ! And let them keep the bowl / casserole dish ,!

If your daughter prefers another color , use the return labe and mark exchange on form. That way it doesn't cost ANY return fee. If the color you chose is out, or item gone you loose nothing. They still won't charge you. It takes a while. I have found though that it seems the exchange comes quicker than the original item. Also if they send to wrong address call or chat and they should return fee. Otherwise it is too much to return on many items.

I agree...her refund and charges WERE correct!
There are NO new fees or changes to the return policy. Maybe the mods can explain it better why your refund was what it was.
Definitely should have done a FREE even exchange for the other color!!!
EZ returns can be emailed, send the correct color out, slap the label on the wrong...and NO extra charges or fees!!
Everything is computerized for ordering. I don't understand how QVC could just randomly pick a different ship to address. My guess is that the wrong box was checked.
Check your orders for accuracy b4 hitting purchase would definitely help.

I have nothing to offer in connection to your topic. Can't even remember the year I last bought anything here. I only remember it was an Oreck vacuum, which I ended up canceling.
Wanted to let you know I am glad to see you posting, especially seeing your posts having more words and paragraphs in them. That is a sign to me you are getting stronger.
Whatever things you are doing to help you recover appear to be working, from my unconnected view anyways. Always happy to see you posting, even though it's a topic I know absolutely nothing about.
Didn't post this to take this thread off topic. I just wanted @Annabellethecat66 to know I am thinking of her. 🙏
Sending my best to you and hoping you continued success in your long recovery.
