That's huge!
At least one person is dead after a powerful earthquake struck New Zealand near the city of Christchurch on Sunday, police said.
The magnitude-7.8 earthquake sent strong jolts felt over 120 miles away in the capital, Wellington, and prompted emergency services to warn people along the coast to move to higher ground to avoid tsunami waves.

Your son obviously does wonderful things for the world @cherry
I haven't been to New Zealand but I love it by way of what I know about its history and the Maori people. It's a beautiful place.

That is a BIG one. i was in 7.1 in San Francisco and that was bad enough. Their aftershocks will be in high 6's. Hopefully, there are no more casualties. ![]()

I haven't seen those movies, but I have seen a couple more. I can recommend one, if I can find the name online.
