Through the magic of video, in 2018, 6th grade boys at the McCallie School ( a private boys' school)  taped questions they would ask of their later, high school grad selves.  Then, when the boys were about to graduate high school recently, they sat down and answered their younger selves' questions.

I wish I'd done that!

Both their younger and older selves were so cute!  I have such a soft spot for both ages.

Their younger selves wanted to know things like, "Is your favorite movie still "Star Wars"?   (  Answer:  Yes!)

But they also had deep questions.  I loved every single one of the boys I saw, but that strawberry blond character  (very, very smart) in the first set of pictures was my favorite. 

One of his answers to his younger self was--  "Always be kind.  You won't always get another chance to be".  ( Or something like that.)    He had a possibly stricken, thoughtful expression as he haltingly said this, like he was reflecting from deep experience....

Whatever this school in Chattanooga, Tennessee is doing, they should keep on doing it--  their students reflect well on them.

Oh, that's neat, @FranandZoe --  I didn't realize it had found a TV audience as well.  That's great, people can't get enough of 'good news' type stories like this.  Your word "touching" is so apt, and I'd add, "encouraging" too.
