*67 Do you use this when making calls from home?

When I want to ask a question to a company I always star 67 before I dial so they don't know who I am? Today when I did that at the Q.......they were still able to see who I was? So I am going to call my telephone provider because dialing those two number aways showed me as private call.........have you noticed this or do you try this when you call places? Thanks to all who post.
