and Michigan- a 5 year old

and a 14 year old died with it.

I guess we all were hoping at least it was a good thing it doesn't seem to be hitting children, but sadly learning not.

It is sad. We don't know enough to know what to know.

And no way to track for research.

We won't be able to test everyone..too late.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County confirmed that a 6-year-old child has tested positive for coronavirus.

Health department spokesman Alex Shaw initially told Contact 5 the child tested positive in New York, but he later said the child was never in that state.

The case is currently under investigation.

from what I read before only very young children seem to be immune to the virus.

In the Detroit area there was a report on TV of an 18 month old that tested positive. He has only one kidney and his temp was close to 104.

He is recovering at home, and his temp has returned to normal, fortunately. Both parents are type 1 diabetics. They are not sick yet.

Honestly I believe 2 of my kids already had it in December and January so no I'm not surprised that there are confirmed cases of children.

I practiced Social Distancing and obsession over disinfecting way before it was the cool thing to do.

There's a 5 year old in Howard Co. Maryland who has it.

I heard this morning on the news a 2 year old was diagnosed with it.

I also heard Dr. Jen Ashton report that the CDC has finally released some numbers and 29% of reported cases are in people age 20-44 and they were surprised the figure was that high for that age group.
