Enjoy every minute of it. AARP get discounts on restaurants, parks & hotels for about $8 a yr membership. 10% or 15% off is nice.

I turn 65 tihs year and am thrilled.  I'm all set for Medicare and a supplemental policy.  Together, they will save me a few hundred$ per month compared to my current employer plan premium.

Happy Birthday to you. I hope you get something of value from AARP. For me there is very little I can get. I live in a rural area & we don't have the stores, restaurants etc that they offer discounts for. I can't even save with the grocery coupons as out grocery stores are not on the list.

All I know is you get a discount at Denny's because the cashier once asked my husband if he wanted to use it - he wasn't 50 yet  (What happened to the yellow smilies?  Now it's just cats and robots.)

Happy Anniversary of your birth!  Enjoy your day and always ask at stores, restaurants, hotels and movies if they give the AARP discounts. I have saved a pretty penny with that card. HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎈🎂🎉🎊🎁
