These are the people the Duggars used to "treat" their children.
"The Institute in Basic Life Principles, a fundamentalist Christian organization, which was frequently linked to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of TLC's 19 Kids and Counting, is facing controversy yet again.
As reported by The Washington Post, a group of five women have filed a lawsuit against the Institute in Basic Life Principles, a Christian ministry based in Oak Brook, Illinois, claiming that the religious organization and its leadership covered up allegations of sexual abuse and harassment made by participants in the ministry's various programs."

Are you referring to the women who are suing or the people who run the Institute?

It's far more than that if they're sexually abusing people and covering it up.

This post has been removed by QVC. Sorry Loves Roses - I can see what you are saying. :-/ Unfortunately, usually when this topic is brought up it takes the whole thread off course and causes a debate. Especially since it involves religion. I removed your post as well, since it might take the thread off topic by mentioning what I had removed. Hoping to keep this solely on the group the OP mentioned, so that it stays on topic for her!

It should come as no surprise to anyone that the Board which did nothing after the girls/women took their complaints to it, is comprised only of men. Fortunately, they are also named individually in the lawsuit. I read both articles, the charges ring true to me.

The two married daughters are going to have a Reality show of their own - or so I heard on The Talk the other day.
Does anyone have any feelings about this, one way or the other?
