We are moving next week, so we will probably spend most of the weekend unpacking.

There are a few options to choose from in my area but haven't decided which one/s to go to yet. On the actual 4th though - church.

So far no invites so I will end up treating myself to a steak and salad and listen to the fireworks all night.  lol

I'll be home alone on the 4th.  It's become a pattern with me. I. Hate. Holidays.

I'm sure the neighbors catty corner behind our house and through a small section of woods will do fireworks.  They usually do and that's fine with me, but they usually set them off till maybe 3 or 4 in the morning.  Bedroom is on the back side of the house.  I never sleep through them.

I'll be at "the shore" all weekend enjoying great bbq, the beach, pool, hot tub, spa, fireworks & of course......

@gidgetgh   I am with you on holidays.  When I was younger, had energy, joints that didn't hurt and wasn't just plain old tired, I enjoyed them. Kids were little/young and that was fun.

Now, well, holidays are pretty much  just another day.  Way too much hoopla and work for one day.

Pretty sure just what I do every Sat., go out with my sister. I hear my neighbor is having around 50 people at his house on Sat. so I'm thinking that I won't be getting any sleep that night. Sun. guess I'll catch up on my sleep.
