4lbs of Sugar???

When did the sugar companies "downsize?" In case you haven't noticed, there are no more 5lb bag of sugar. They are now 4 lbs or 8 lbs. I had noticed that the price of sugar was going up and up and I was pleased today when I saw$2.29. But the bag (major name brand) seemed smaller when I picked it up and that is when I noticed it was only 4 lbs.

I knew this has been happening with other products...a couple of oz. here a couple there, but a whole lb!
