Do you enjoy the 4th of July?  At our prior home we had a pool!  Every year on the 4th we would have a party for a few friends and family!  We would usually BBQ Hamburgers and also some chicken!  Everyone would bring other food!  Now at this home we have no pool (by choice of course) so we no longer have the pool party!  We have some friends that live on a lake and they usually have a party so thats where we will be again this year!  I love digging out my patriotic t-shirt  that I have had for many years (quality was so much better way back when !!)  This year I will be taking along my cherry cheesecake! Any special plans??

We are having a family get-together at the beach this year! Can't wait to see my grandson

Yearly, by the river at our log home in Utah,,,lots of family and friends...lots of good BBQ, side salads, desserts and beverages.

Cant wait, and pray for good weather!

Even though I now have a dog not bothered by fireworks, I sure could do without all the neighborhood fireworks so for me don't really care for it!

No plans for us.  I haven't really even thought about the 4th yet.  My husband and I usually go to a local barbeque restaurant for lunch on the 4th so hopefully we'll be able to do that.

I love 4th of July better than Christmas, Thanksgiving and any other holiday. I love it because its in the middle of Summer, my favorite time. I love it because now that we live in a lake, my kids are up here enjoying all of our water toys. Its hot out with cool nights for campfires! As soon as I see red, white and blue items in the stores I start buying! I look forward to the July 4th holiday sooo much!

We love the 4th! We are on a Minnesota lake, even if it rains we still BBQ and take in a few beers with friends. It's usually too busy on my lake to boat that day. We have a great deck over-looking the water!

I always celebrate with friends at a crab feast at one of their homes in their covered driveway.  Lots of good food and lots of fun.  Can't always do it exactly on the 4th.  But usually as close to the 4th as possible.  I bring enough fresh fruit that I cut up and fill up a large roasting pan.  There is never a drop of fruit left over.  A fun day!!!

Lake swimming at Lake Travis - water level permitting. This year is ridiculously high, a few years back it was ridiculously low. Who can keep up anymore...

The kids, the grandkids - we all have a good time. Relaxing time, family time, crazy time - it is all in there...

Next time we all get together will not be until Thanksgiving... And, I am NOT even going there yet...
