The familial link is still considered controversial.  I don't know why, but maybe that will play out as the full story unfolds.

This tragedy has hung over the family's lives a long time.  You can imagine the lack of closure.  I hope this is verified and the killer is identified if not apprehended.

they seem to be solving more and more of these old cases.  it's reassuring to know that they're not forgotten.

her family must be thrilled that this case is finally solved.  it must have been terrible for them all these years.
