Misused words do not bother me nearly as much as eloquent speech that fails to get the speaker's (poster's) point across. It matters not one whit to me how well one speaks or writes if their thoughts are not clearly communicated.

That's not bad English. It's British English, like "judgement".

Imply vs Infer. Those two words are frequently misused.
I took the test...
Language Expert! A+
You have done exceptionally well on this quiz. You've scored higher than the majority of people who take the quiz. You have incredible grammar knowledge. And your sentience is superb. You should really consider being an English teacher, or even a language teacher!

I am laughing because I remember my English teacher, in my Sophomore year, telling me to never start a sentence with the word And, as it is above.

"Voila!"
It is incorrectly spelled "Wah-lah!" or "Wha-la" or some other phonetic reproduction of the word.
In French, they usually say, "Et voila!," which means:
And, that's that!
Here you go! or There you go!
Here it is! or There it is!
Or, "It's done!"
(and yes, wah-lah drives me nuts too.)
I saw a post yesterday that included wah-lah. It almost hurts your eyes.
Still better than the "viola" I've seen in many places.
My biggest pet peeve are superfluous apostrophes, as in "How many cat's do you have?".

Went and Gone are often misused. I cringe when I hear, "I should have went to the store today."

I cringe when I hear/read ""advise/advice. You give advice or you can advise someone!

Anyways is not a word and it is used so often. Any means any - no ""s"" is needed

Oh gees .... another one that bothers me:
""I will try and ..... "" when what they really mean is ""try TO .... ""
(where do they get ""try and"" ?? )

This is one of my pet peeves...

^ This!
My other pet peeve, is when people say, "Would OF", instead of "Would've", or "Would HAVE".
