27 Lbs. of Costco Mac and Cheese is a Sellout!

Hee, I heard this on the radio earlier today and just looked it up.  Apparently Costco carries a 27 pound bucket of emergency supply Mac and Cheese that was featured in a People magazine article and it's now sold out.  I didn't realize you could even purchase that much M&C but some of the reviews are so funny but clearly very tasty:

Actually @sharke I think it may be one of those emergency kits for folks that live in areas that may experience extended periods of time without power so you have these foods that you just add hot water and have nice meals.  It just made me laugh that folks read about this in People magazine and cleaned out Costco of their stock!

Urban Meteopolitan Costco

vs

Areas experiencing extended periods of time without power

I don’t see those 2 anywhere kinda/sorta close to each other.

If one is that remote (believe I grew up in that area),

the warehouse (if available) would be Sam’s or Walmart.

Maybe a Venn Diagram would help solve this.

A tub of processed ~carp~ is a ‘bit’ for many...especially since

they featured in a pop culture magazine & not Preppers Today.

They’ll probably flip it on eBay. I would guess no one

would really use this for the the intended use.

@mtc

Thank you for the post. The reviews are funny and can you imagine seeing the reaction on the face of a Mac N Cheese lover?

Great suggestions in the article about reusing the container.
