@Imaoldhippie , @Johnnyeager , et al: Apologies, but the list was actually a slideshow. So l couldn’t copy and paste it, as l would have if it was an article. But each item had an explanation. Here are some of them:
Re: mayonnaise, they like healthy foods. Avocados are popular.
Re: doorbells, apparently they text “I’m here.”
Re: autos, renting them is popular, as well as using public transit and rideshares.
Re: napkins, paper towels are used instead.

I loathe milk and glad to see it on the list. I think it's creepy to drink another animal's milk. the milk that is selling is from plants. I never gave in the the dairy propaganda" you never out grow your need for milk". Mayonnaise is something I never eat. Only time I ever see it, is on some sandwich i would order out, without asking for it. Irons I perfectly understand. As for cars. My husband always (without fail) lease cars. Never buy to own.

I don't know about most of the items on the list but the millennials I know certainly aren't buying homes. I assume they are unsure of their jobs and want to stay mobile and/or they have student loans to pay off and can't afford to buy. Will be interesting to see the long term effect of this.

Here are some additional items Millennials are shunning, from another list l found:
golf
casual dining chains, such as Applebee’s
motorcycles
banks
department stores
bar soap
wine with corks

I don't think the list applies just to Millennials. I'm not a Millennial, and I don't use many of the things on listed. No napkins, (I like paper towels); no interest in a cruise, I prefer credit unions over banks; won't eat mayonnaise; don't wear high heels; don't watch cable, prefer to buy online; etc. I do own a house and car, though.

Interesting list....thanks for posting.
Yeah w/ the trends we see now, they will be the 'normal' tomorrow.
I can see the reasons for every 25 points.
I would add another:
26. Checks

What I don't understand how did Mayonnaise get to be #1?

My daughter eats cereal, and meat. Doesn't eat fast food and has never liked mayonnaise ever. Stays in hotels and owns a car. She has cable only because its bundled with wifi.
