Re: 2026 postage stamp releases

@on the bay   Your father and #4 must have been a hoot. What a wonderful memory.

I, too, love the animal stamps.  I send close to 50 Christmas cards.  It used to be more, but unfortunately some receipants are no longer with us.

Re: 2026 postage stamp releases

Hi @gidgetgh  Woman Happy

What a lovely collection of new & upcoming US Stamps!  Thank you for gathering & posting these for us!  Woman Very Happy

I still have a bunch of US stamps, most all "Forever" stamps. And, I do indeed use these, as needed   Woman Wink

(y'know, I still havent been able to locate the RBG Forever Stamps for purchase at any of the Post Ofcs I have been In-Person visiting since her stamp's issue!  But, rest assured, I'll get some!   Woman Wink)

Now, you can be sure, I'll be newly purchasing some of these New Issues you posted above.  I can't think of an even better, & affordable way to continue to buy into one of the biggest, respected, & cont'd successes of USA & "the American Way!!"

BTW, this yr's newest Postal Svc commercials remind us, it's a US institution of nearly 250 yrs!

    I still get chills each year, when I inevitably & routinely watch (the actor, Atty Fred Gailey, presenting "US Postal Service" speech evidence to the Court Judge, in) the beloved, famed Christmas movie, "Miracle on 34th Street."n One of my Christmas faves!!  Woman Very Happy

Some are attractive..some just look like kid's stickers..I notice "forever" is crossed out on a lot of them..I guess there will be another raise due.

It is done to prevent counterfeiting,

I love many of the new stamps, particularly the one with animals-I will make sure to get those.

We bought Madonna and Child for our Christmas cards this year. And I still send birthday and sympathy cards to friends and family regularly, and I usually get a thank you call from the recipient. My hubby and his cousin exchange a birthday card every year....it is the same card and has made back and forth for 22 years!!!!

@We rescue cats,

lol!

My sister and I used to do this-we would send the card back and forth and sign it "Sis."Woman LOL

Now we don't as much but I save my favorite cards and put them out.

I send her pictures of her card she sent me last year that I already have out. We both get to enjoy them all over again Woman Very Happy

That is terrific! DH and his cuz joke about who will forget where they put it first . . . the same card goes in each direction but they were out of space to sign it a year or so ago so they added a page to it! LOL!!

Re: 2026 postage stamp releases

@We rescue cats,

Haha so funny! I love it!

This also made me think of how several times my 2 aunts and mother who are very close but live on opposite sides of the country, once sent each other the exact same card! My 2 daughters gave me the same Christmas card one year. I put them both up every year.

My sister and I have sent our mother the same card too without knowing we had chosen the same one.

I always think that is so wonderful and amazing too!

I love getting cards and giving them. I think its always been a big part of all my families way of showing we are thinking of each other, especially when we all can't live in the same state. I sure wish we could!
