And we have our first winner of the I don't use stamps contest!

Its ok @I am still oxox  i knew I'd get that comment. Just appreciate the pictures for what they are and scroll on by. I don't use as many stamps as I used to, but I do mail birthday cards and sympathy cards and a few bills that I still pay by check-gasp!

Re: 2026 postage stamp releases

I collect stamps and use them as well. In fact, I still hand write letters, a lost art. I will be getting the old vintage Motels, the beach scenes and the partridges. Thanks for sharing!

Re: 2026 postage stamp releases

I write letters, I send Thank you notes, I send Birthday cards, sympathy  cards and a boat load of Christmas cards.  I will be getting the beach stamps and what looks like Route 66 stamps.

My husband and I were going to drive Route 66 from Chicago to California upon retirement 5 years ago but he passed away 10 days before we retired so we never took that trip.  I live vicariously through others that do make that trip though.

I am  a big stamp geek and try to put appropriate stamps on whatever I am mailing.

Re: 2026 postage stamp releases

Oh gosh @gidgetgh!Woman LOL

I was just thinking I have enough forever stamps to last forever!

I love when you post these however. Also love the birds, the beach scenes, the origami dove,

the chipmonks and squirrels.

I send a lot of birthday cards to many, Valentine and Halloween to my

sister, and to others on special occasions- and my kids still ask me if I have any stamps.

Do I have stampsWoman LOL!

Dollar Tree used to have the best cards for all different kinds of people and occasions but the last few times, they haven't had as many or as nice selections I think.

And for some reason for the first time I haven't sent out any Christmas cards. I ran out last year and just couldn't get it together this year.  Maybe I should send someone my Christmas stamps in a card instead lol!

My father and his 4th wife-(four's the charmWoman LOL) said they used to go to the card store, chose a card, show it to each other for each of their birthdays, then put it back lol! He said it saved money and showed the thought haha!!

They both had a sense of humor so I've always loved that story. You gotta love these depression era parents!

What a fun post to find! Thanks again.

@on the bay Yes- Iove that you have so many forever stamps. Me too!  I think there are lots in what @gidgetgh  posted that I will be increasing my supply with some of these new ones.  I think collecting them is a fun past time.

Also, I had to laugh at your father and 4th wife's idea with the birthday cards. How creative of them!

Have a great day, and use a forever stamp if you can this weekend! Heart

@gidgetgh   Thank you for posting.  I, too, am a stamp geek from way back when.

I love all the stamps shown and will purchase, as I use snail mail.  I send cards for various holidays and reasons.  My grand babies love to get mail, and I also try to send different stamps as they look for them.
