I depend on "freebie" calendars from our local butcher/meat market.  I used to get free calendars from organizations I supported with donations.

But, when I was buying calendars, I looked forward to this one every year:

@missy1 - I thought it was kind of funny there were no responses to your Kim K. calendar!

This year, my calendar of choice is a Lang "Puppies" calendar.  All beautiful artwork of adorable puppies and beautiful backgrounds.  As another poster mentioned, I save my calendars also and always plan to frame some of my favorite pictures from them, but never seem to do it.  Maybe this year I will!

I also always try to purchase a Mary Englebreit desk calendar for my dressing table in my bedroom.  The artwork and inspirational sayings on her calendars always lift my spirits and make me smile!

And speaking of calenders that is another New Year superstition: You don't display any calender until the actual day.

DH got me as a little gift the "Keep Calm and Carry On " desk one. Love it!

For some reason I just can't make myself pay $15 for a yearly calendar-----I try to find the cheapest one I can, usually the dollar store--but this year I printed one page with all the months on it to stick on my refer door----I have a white board calendar that I put each new month onto for the family to look at. Just a weird thing for me.

I have a few that I use. One is from tje Humane Society which I use when planning my work schedule. I have a couple from my cruises last year. One is of Hawaii and the other is Alaska. One is in the kitchen and the other in the living room next to the phone. I love having calendas to be able to write down appointments, etc.

Mine is a freebie from a local funeral home.  It has beautiful scenic pictures for each month.  I can't justify spending $10 or more for a calendar when the calendar I have is free and very nice.

I use the Retro Mama calendars even though I am not a mama and have never been a housewife.  I just get a kick out of the vintage drawings and the snarky comments.
