We live close to each other.  I live a few blocks from where the Des Moines officer was shot.  It absolutely breaks my heart.

 

Yes, he was a racist and alt right.

One officer's funeral is today.  The other officer's funeral is tomorrow.   Thousands of police officers and firefighters from all over are in town.  My heart breaks for their families, for all officers.

 

My heart also goes out to the children of the killer.  He has 2 young daughters who are really struggling with what their dad did.
