I see cherries on sales for $1.99/pound in the supermarkets and at my local farmers market they were $8.99/pound for organic and I thought they were too pricey for organic. 

This takes the cake as they say at almost $20/pound.

I bought Ranier cherries from the grocery store once and thought they were on sale. I checked out and it seemed high since I didn't buy that many things. Once home I checked the receipt and they were $12 and something. I took them right back and the girl said I don't blame you. I don't think it was even a pound. I have now started to pay attention more lol.
