Traveled over the Thanksgiving weekend and had to fill up again. I had 20 cents on my Kroger card so got a fill up for $2.17/gallon. What a deal. Smile

I'll trade you! $3.15 here. They seem to take their good old time lowering the prices. Local officials are calling for the State Attorney General's office to look into the high prices in my area.

Misleading thread title there. Gas cost more unless she had her Kroger's discount, but, wow, we haven't reached anywhere near even 2.37 let alone 2.17.

My best gas savings - besides the cost just going down - is my own credit card. I have one that gives me a 5% discount for half the year and another that gives me 3% the other half. That's as good as it gets for me.

Gas prices vary widely depending on what area of the US you reside and also the state tax you must pay per gallon.

Right now in SW PA, the average cost per gallon for regular is $2.93 per the GasBuddy web site. Of that amount $40.7 cents per gallon is state tax.

Paid 65 cents a gallon for 35 gallons only cost us $23. Have enough *points* for 2 more add'l fill ups at that price.

It is $2.55 here in SW Florida today.We currently have .17 per gallon off on our Winn Dixie card so that would be $2.38. By the time I buy all the ingredients I need to make my Christmas cookies they will be paying me to buy gas . ha.
