Looks very 1950s.
For me, I don’t care for lace or the layers of netting underneath (not sure what it’s called).Tulle I believe.
That's it! Thank you. ☺️

I like the top part of the dress. I do not care for the bottom part.

Reminds me of Jackie Kennedy.........maybe it's the sleeves?

This is another wedding dress from the 1950's.

Looks very much like mine. I believe mine was organza. Long see thru sleeves that came to a V on my hand. No netting of any kind. No lace. The neckline was I guess sweetheart, not sure. All pearls. The train had sequins hither and thither. The sales lady said it had just come in and I was the first one to try it on. My mom and her friend came and the friend said, 'this is IT as far as I'm concerned.' hahaha. I was young and just glad I didn't have to try on even one more. But when I first saw the OP's photo, it took me aback for a second. Just the image reminded me of mine but just for a second.
Trivia-that morning after I was ready to go to church, I called my BFF maid of honor and said hurry up and do my eyebrows!!! OMGosh I forgot all about them-she always drew them on for me when we went to something big because I hardly had any. She 'got me to the church on time.'

BEAUTIFUL...that would be around the time my parents got married. My Mom had that tiny little waist too, i remember her telling me it was 19".

@beckyb1012 Your post brought a tear to my eyes, happy tear! How wonderful for your family to have those memories and shared dress!
I never had sisters or close family weddings--so I love this story! Must have been wonderful to compare the photos years--I hope the marriages were happy!
Adding: I had a friend whose mother had her picture on and her sister's picture in the living room of them in their wedding dresses. When someone would ask "Which one is you?" she would say "The PRETTY one!"

I love it. Just love everything about the dress. I love the tulle as it adds flounce and lightens the look and weight of all lace.
