15 yr old "missing kid" found after getting on school bus

Read an odd story that a missing 15 yr old boy from Pa ( Jesse Allen Crow ) was seen this morning getting on a md school bus . This boy is 6'4" 190 lbs . he showed other stidents on the bus that he was carrying 2 big knives . Then he exited the bus at the school . It is unknown as to if he was enrolled at the local scholl but many students at the High school are afraid . Authorities , now have him in custody and he apparently " has been house hopping " staying with various local people . The news article did not say if he verbalized any mal intentions with these knves .

What is going on with these teens ?

@skatting44 Where are his parents, family? House hopping? Is he without a family or home?

You do have to wonder why someone would be bringing knives to school and show them to other kids. Maybe nothing bad but proud to have posessions? I'm naive I'm sure. Lots of missing info. I should google.

yes, maybe the local Police will provide more details abt his parents. Apparently, the adult who has custody of him as a minor lives somewhere in Pa . No info as to how he happened to be in small town in Md boarding a school bus with 2 big knives. Kids on the bus notified school & authorities.

Atleast these school kids followed the rule " If you see something , say something ".

What is going on, indeed.

I have a 16 year old that when he was in middle school had a much bigger kid threaten to kill him. When we went to the principal, he didn't do anything so we called the local sheriff in.

The sheriff told us because nothing physical had actually happened yet, they could do nothing other than talk to the kid and his parents.

We withdrew him the next day.

What were we supposed to do? Wait for something "to happen"?

NO WAY.

By the way, this kid had "anger management" issues and had been called to the office many times.

Lack of parenting/lack of being disciplined/lack of being educated/lack of consequences/Social Media. Take it from there. I have no human kids, but I worked with, and around many youth, for years. It was easy for me to see some of the above in my few hours with them.

How did a PA resident child get on an MD school bus without anyone saying something? I know the states are right next to each other, but certainly the bus driver knows all his/her students and wouldn't let him on if he was a stranger.

Any new students are told to the drivers. This story doesn't make sense.

The problem with teens is the adults who failing them. Not just the parents; schools, politicians, law enforcement, communities. Ok he had knives but that's not what jumped out at me. I saw a 15 year old child who appears to be homeless and is couch surfing with heaven only knows what type of people. Maybe he has mental health or developmental issues and his family abandoned him. Perhaps school means safety to him. I hope he gets the help he needs.

One of the suspects fired a gun several times but it malfunctioned, police said.

At the end of the article it states: The male victim suffered minor injuries in the assault. Two adults -- the bus driver and a bus aide -- were on or near the bus at the time and were uninjured, police said.
