I encourage you to look at the Washington Post story of a mom who took her immuno compromised daughter to a church Covid party in FL where they were intentionally trying to infect their children. Then she gave her sick daughter hydroxychloroquine and Zpack before the poor girl got so sick she had to be admitted to a hospital, where she passed.
This woman was spouting completely false information she got from a certain network and effectively killed her own daughter in the process.
That is the danger we face. It's horrifying
@lianne, to make this even worse the mother is a nurse and the father is a PA. There is quite a bit of information about the mother and her beliefs being reported on various sites.
Imagine needing medical attention and being treated by either the mother or father.

That is frightening, to kill your own daughter -to prove a point, prove someone right? Sick

A Fort Myers church strongly denied social media allegations that it intentionally exposed members to the coronavirus and ignored safety guidelines on masks and social distancing.
In a facebook post, Fort Myers church fires back at social media claims it intentionally exposed members to COVID-19.
“Those allegations are absolutely false and are based upon irresponsible speculation and inaccurate information,” the church statement reads. “Because those false reports have been picked up, perpetuated and posted throughout national, local and social media, the church has been subject to a relentless attack and finds itself forced to make this statement in an effort to get the truth out.”
Church representatives did not respond to an interview request after that posting. Hours later, First Assembly made its Facebook page private and available only to select members.

So they denied it but won't respond and have now gone private. Okey-dokey.

The news article I read today said the mother was a nurse and father a PA and also they gave her an oxygen tank that belonged to her grandfather but sadly nothing worked and she required hospitalization. They told them no ventilator. The young girl had cancer prior to this and beat it I believe or was in remission.

If we want the CDC in charge, all we have to do is apply pressure.
CDC is never going to be in complete control.

Check the medical reports from countries that have had children going to school for months now and they are very positve in keeping the children going to school. Some are acting liked we should stay in our homes until a vaccine is available. Well, that is not practical. The fake news just keeps screaming that the sky is falling and there is no where to hide. Science just does not show that in other countries. Everything in this country is political and it is hurting this country.

@saltysails, finally we agree on something.

@saltysails No one should suggest we all stay home and wait for a vaccine. It is very unlikely there will be a vaccine that is worth jumping up and down over. Ever. That is just reality. Even the bad vaccines we have took years to develop.
When we need to do is stsy home for a few weeks, everyone wearing masks around others, and practice social distancing until the numbers go down and we actually flatten the curve. Like we were originally asked to do months ago. Like most other countries did.
