go for it.

you and he are the only ones who can decide if your age will make a difference.

 

when i met my husband way back when, age was OK it is what he was doing for a living. my parents would never approve.

 

I just said who cares, it is ME THAT WANTS HAPPINESS,no one else. I went for it. we are still married 49 years for us this year.

 

you only go around once in life. If you find he is the one for you, go for it.

If I remember correctly, you've had a really rough time, losing your husband and having your children so far away. This is the first time in such a long time, you are upbeat. Go for what makes you happy!

Why are you asking for feedback/opinions? Clearly, you are still uneasy or not confident about this relationship. If it works, then enjoy it. It's your life and your decision. .

@Ditzydori  Life is short.  If you are both happy with each other, age should not matter especially since you are both mature adults.  Enjoy yourself.
