Why, thank you so much for the “shout-out”

and thank you all for the appreciation you show to teachers and nurses!

Not sure I will say this correctly because this is my opinion based on my experience and each person’s experience is different.

While more $ would have been nice and certainly better health insurance would have been welcomed, a pay increase was not what I DESPERATELY needed!

I DESPERATELY needed more hours in a day. OR

please lessen the class load (for me and for some overburdened gen ed teachers.

In order to do this part, more teachers would need to be hired.

Classrooms would need to be enlarged and better supplied.

Just dreaming here...but high schoolers (my experience) were too big to fit in the desks (and we needed more desks) with all of their “stuff.”

I needed a map to be replaced on the roller and I needed blackboards and books.

Workbooks too. ❤️❤️

However, If you were a parent and just acknowledged your child’s teacher, like everyone here probably does, that would go a LONG way to those who teach because they love kids.
