The post-Relios era. It's a pretty necklace and I like the rope chain. I'm not sure. I think Carolyn's team probably selected the stones, right? Do I have enough spiny oyster? Yes! 

I always enjoy Carolyn's holiday visits, and I usually find something to "remember"  them by. I don't know what I will do!

I like the one I "designed" myself with what I had on hand, along with a new pendant, J414806,  (review posted), better than the one pictured.  I love my feather.

The choice of calling this a "squash blossom" necklace  is rather deceptive.  It does indeed  have a small squash blossom at the end of the colored stone. However, most collectors of southwestern jewelry would expect a large silver naja/crescent in the center and several squash blossoms among the beads.  Nice necklace but not a tradition squash blossom necklace.

@JCath.  It also doesn't cost $2200. I'd call it the "poor girl's" squash blossom.

The big ones really aren't very popular as there are few places where wearing them seems appropriate.   I never see people wearing them in Albuquerque or Santa Fe.

American West has 3 traditional squash blossom necklaces listed for about $700 and one for around $800,  No need to spend $2200 unless you want to.

@Kachina624 - I also have the Fritz feather pendant. I wear it on my thin black leather necklace (not Carolyn's). Did you make that beautiful beaded necklace? I love it! It's perfect for the feather!

@beach-mom.  I think the beads were a CP product.  I have jewelry boxes full of beaded necklaces, many from Jay King too.

That feather would also make a spectacular gift for a man!

@beach-mom I believe those are native pearls. I had visited Arizona years ago and looked at many of those necklaces with higher price tags.I started buying them on her clearance sales and have a nice collection in length and bead size. I also have a bracelet and matching earrings. 

I sure miss those blowout clearance sales on Relios but I do NOT need any more jewelry so small blessings

@Estates - I hear you! I have one native pearl necklace (Carolyn's) that I bought years ago. I miss those Relios sales too - especially at the holidays. My birthday is in December, so I could always justify getting something! LOL! Relios' customer service was hard to beat. I talked to Alex many times, and he was so helpful.
