@smoky22    Three Pines is mine but when I saw yours:

Yes to Bishop's Lacey!  (But only if I could live at Buckshaw)

And that reminds me I wouldn't mind the village in the Cotswalds where Agatha Raisin lives.  But not as her next-door neighbor Smiley Happy

After additional thought here's another vote for Bishop's Lacy but only if I could pal around with Flavia and help with some crime solving.

Another place I would like to live would be the Shire of the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings fame. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of Middle Earth and seems to be a beautiful and peaceful place. However, I would hope that I could still be a human inhabitant rather than a hobbit as I really wouldn't want to have hairy feet. lol

Well, I know it isn't The Grapes of Wrath. I'll have to think where I would like to live.

As a child I would have chosen Little House on the Prairie without hesitation.

As an adult, I like the Bennie Harper series by Earlene Fowler, which takes place in a town very much like San Luis Obispo in central CA.
