what are your some of your favorite character names

I hope this is a fun and interesting thread.  Some of my favorite names are:

 

Anathema Device  - "Good Omens"

Bonanza Jellybean  - "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues".  (Waving at you, @GenXmuse !)

Humbert Humbert - "Lolita"

Sherlock Holmes (seems so perfect!  as does Mycroft!)

Almost ALL of the names from J. K. Rowlings' Harry Potter books - so lyrical!

 

Albus Dumbledore, Severus Snape, Luna Lovegood, Minerva McGonnigall...I could go on and on...

Yes!  All of them and the books make me wish I'd studied ancient Greek and Roman culture and Latin, because that's where they come from and it sails right over my head.  Some more:
