A few years ago, there was a Louise Penny video made called "Still Life" (which is, of course, the title of her first book). It was terrible--all of the characters looked about 20 years younger than I was expecting: the whole story line was warped.

Now Amazon has produced a new series ("Three Pines"). I'm looking forward to it, but I'm hoping there are some actual senior citizens in it. 

Otherwise, I'm not watching it.

I'm looking forward to this. Do you know when it will be out? I'm looking forward to being a part of Three Pines. I hope they do the characters justice.

Officially, it will be on Fridays (8 shows).

I just watched the trailer for Three Pines (comes out this Friday on Amazon Prime starring Nathaniel Parker who looks so perfect for the lead character.

I just turned this on and am thrown by the absence of an accent. I think Alfred Molina looks like I pictured Gamache but not his voice. I listened to the audiobooks and the narrator has a European accent and speaks French.
