We Need to Talk about Kevin has moved into the #1 fiction spot on my own personal list for 2019.

Is this an older book?  I think I read this in the 90s?

It's from 2003. (I have quite a backlog of books waiting to be read.)

@insomniac2

I now have 39 books on my Favorites shelf at Goodreads and this is one of them.  It's amazing.

I had asked you on the other thread, not sure if you saw it, if you read Big Brother?  And if yes do you know the real-life thing that happened?  If not google it or I'll tell you in a spoiler box.

Every time there's a school shooting including the one not far from me in Parkland, I think of We Need to Talk About Kevin.  One of the most well-written, insightful novels I've ever read and I'm soooooo glad you feel the same.

ps:  my nic is @LoriLori  no comma.  I don't like my nic at all, but when I chose it I never thought i'd have it for ? 13? 14? years?

LoriLori, I totally trust your recommendations. I'll check out Big Brother.
