My daughter is getting her first book published.  Her first book will be out Nov.1st. And two more will follow after that. She has always loved to write and now her dream has come true. The process moved along much quicker than she thought. She got a agent and it wasn't long after that that two publishing houses wanted her book. I am so happy for her.

@hovis

Congratulations to your daughter🌹

Publishers receive so many books that it is an honor to be chosen. I hope you will provide the title of the books as they are released!

Wonderful news indeed❤️

Congratulations! I'm assuming she already knows this, but checking the agent and publisher through a site like preditors and editors is always wise. There are roughly a million scam artists out there masquerading as legitimate agents/publishers, so you have to be very careful as an author. Sites like preditors and editors have kept lots of authors out of lots of trouble.

I know a writer who didn't check out an offer and paid a big price as a result. She gave up writing for a few years as a result of this encounter. A quick search on a writer friendly site like preditors and editors can save a lot of heartbreak down the road.

Congratulations to her.  What genre?  Who is the publisher?
