I have eight books I read each night, four I read each  morning, and four I read throughout the day. If I will be teaching a class, or preparing for a book club, then it's more.

I read one book at a time.  However, I am fast reader and when I really love a book, I can't put it down.  There have been times when I have read two books in one week.

If I think about starting another book I know the first one isn't that interesting.  I don't force myself to finish a book.  At that point, I'm thinking about all the things on my "to do" list I didn't get done rather than starting a second one.

One but I reserve the right to re-read in the middle of a new one if a book really caught my attention and I'm just not over it yet.

I read one book at a time.  I usually finish a book in 24 hours or less, so it wouldn't make sense to have a few going at once.

Also, I like to read books that are written in a series, so I have to read them in order.

Definitely one at a time, always have the next one ready to go and read books in a series in order, whenever possible!!

Sadly, I read two to three books at a time.  I just wish I had more time to read.  It is my guilty pleasure.  I have many new books that I cannot wait to get a moment to read, or to finish.

Have never wanted to read multiple, nor would I be able to focus and concentrate and 'get into' the story.
