Hi Everyone.

    I'm a retired college librarian. This is my favorite topic.  I just finished The Protectors by Jolynn Angelini. This is her first novel. It's a thriller. Loved it, loved it. Chapters are short and there is an interesting ending.

   I'm really looking forward to being part of QVC blogs and forums.

@Snooky60

Welcome to the book Forum. I may be biased but I believe this to be the best forum out of the many available on QVC's board.

@icezeus  - I agree. We rock!

@icezeus- I concur. We sure do rock!

@proudlyfromNJ- Is that a new book or one of his classics? I can't remember if I read it or not, and I'm too lazy to check my list lol Hope you enjoy!

@sunala  Looks like it’s 2015. Surprised I haven’t read it. Maybe my library doesn’t have it. Husband brought it home. It’s a bit different than usual.

Re: ~What are you Reading? SEPTEMBER 2019~

Just finished Lumina by Mary Flinn. Not sure if I won this or what but glad I read it.  Set in the 1920s in NC under a pavilion called Lumina where the kids went on Saturday night to dance.  A love story at best too.

Onto Cliff Hanger by Mary Feliz.  Cozy mystery I think.

@proudlyfromNJ  - I just checked my "Read" list and lo and behold, I read it in 2015. I don't remember it at all, but I must have really liked it because I gave it five stars! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Just finished My Sister the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite, it was pretty good, especially if you enjoy psychology and why people do what they do, it was a fast read!

Onto Outfox by Sandra Brown, will post my thoughts when I finish!

Re: ~What are you Reading? SEPTEMBER 2019~

Pulled the book mark on "The Good Neighbor: The LIfe and Work of

Fred Rogers"

Some of it was interesting.  But after finding out why he changed from

dress shoes to sneakers, I began to lose interest. I started doing a quick

scan of the pages instead of actually reading, so no reason to keep with it.

I'll wait for the movie.
