@dawg lover I looked for the Lisa Lutz book and I think you meant Heads You Lose. My library has it but not as an ebook. I'll pick it up next time I'm at the library. Thanks for the recommendation.
I finished The Forgotten Man and really liked it, one of the best in the Elvis Cole series. It's interesting how diverse opinions are. Some people on Amazon thought it was the worst (lol).
Now I'm reading Carved In Bone, the first in the body farm series. I'm learning a lot about forensic anthropolgy. So far I think it's very interesting.

I recently read Murder Has Nine Lives by Laura Levine, which I really enjoyed. Several laugh-out-loud moments.
I'm now reading, and almost finished with, The Tumbling Turner Sisters by Juliette Fay. I am truly loving this book. One scene made me crack up laughing. Very well written and I am looking forward to seeing how it ends. Can't wait!

I finished The Tumbling Turner Sisters, by Juliette Fay, and I have to say I just loved it! I gave it 4 stars out of 5, which for me is excellent. Try it, you'll like it.
Now I'm reading The Lincoln Lawyer by Michael Connelly. I never read the series, so I figured I'd start with Volume 1. I'm enjoying it very much, so far.
@chips I hope you enjoy The Nightingale as much as I did. I thought it was just wonderful, although very sad.
Has anyone started Vinegar Girl yet? I think I'm the next in line to get it. I'm anxious to know how you all like it.
Happy reading everyone!

I've been reading a lot this month since it's too hot to do much outside!!!
Best Staged Plans by Claire Cook - cute book about a home stager/decorator. Lots of good tips and tricks also!
End of Watch - Stephen King - 3rd in Mr. Mercedes trilogy...could not put down. Best of the three IMO.
Sweet Tea at Sunrise - Sherryl Woods - 6th book in Sweet Magnolia series...love these books!!! Small town living, great girlfriends and lots of gossip and drama!
Everything We Keep - Kerry Lonsdale - this was the Kindle First freebie this month...it was okay but not great. Very quick read though.
Darkest Fear - Harlan Coben - this is a Myron Bolitar book. Trying to get caught up on all Myron books since new one coming out this fall. Love all of his books!!!

In between other books I'm reading, I picked up Demolition Angel (Robert Crais). It's not in the Elvis Cole series, but it features Carol Starkey, a character in the last few Elvis books I read. This takes place before she meets him and it's very interesting so far.

Happy reading
I started Vinegar Girl and was hoping to finish it over the weekend but was interupted. It is good so far, will probably finish it tomorrow as it is rather a small book. Maybe a little different from her usual style but I am enjoying it.
