@Alter Ego  I mean to to mention you in my previous post.  You were so right about the characters in Once Upon A River.  Even though they weren't really the main characters (maybe they were), who couldn't love Robert Armstrong and Rita and Daunt and how their stories unfolded.  

 

And @LoriLori you're right, it was on many best of 2018 lists and deservedly so.

@smoky22 I finished reading this last week, it was an easy read and I enjoyed it, and then I read an Alaskan Holiday by Debbie MacComber, it too was an easy fast read, and I enjoyed it!

 

My husband brought back Alaskan Holiday so if I spelled the author's last name incorrectly, I meant no disrespect to her.. I just did not have the book in front of me.

 

Now I am reading Deck the Hounds by David Rosenfelt, so far I am enjoying it!
