Going to start Go On, Girl by Hilary Grossman, an ARC from the author.  It's a "mommy" chick lit.

For several weeks now, I've been reading the Andy Carpenter series by David Rosenfelt .....  and have enjoyed it immensley.   Andy is a dog lover and an attorney in this series.    Great series!!

Sweet Salt Air from Barbara Delinsky.

She makes you feel like you are on the east coast island with the characters.

@Chicagosuburbangirl Mmmm.....don't get me started. I miss the east coast salt air from my childhood and I can still smell it.

I'm halfway through The Rent Collector by Camron Wright. This is a very different book for me, as it takes place in Cambodia in a HUGE garbage dump, where people live in huts and make their money picking garbage and selling what they find. It's about a family of a young mother, father and baby, who is sickly. The young wife is taught how to read by the rent collector, an elderly woman who stops by every week to collect the rent, and the young wife's entire life changes. I'm not making this sound very enticing but it really is wonderful!

Re: WHAT ARE YOU READING? ~~ SEPTEMBER 2018

I just finished My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry by Fredrik Backman last night.   I read Britt-Marie Was Here last month, and it is nice to see Britt-Marie appear in "My Grandmother Asked Me".  I guess I kind of read these two books out of order, but it still works.  I am starting to become a big Fredrik Backman fan. His books are full of soul and humanity.  But I have to say that A Man Called Ove is still the best book out of these three.
