WHAT ARE YOU READING? NOVEMBER 2019

Happy November to all our readers. It's one of my favorite months and I hope to find several great books to add to my list. I hope you all do too.

Please post what you're reading, what you liked and what you didn't, and share them with us so we can enjoy them too.

Happy Reading to all!

Reading:  The Tattoist of Auschwitz.  Too soon to know what I do/do not like about it.

@withaK that one is at 32% read on my Kindle. I need to finish it. Another poster suggested reading The Legend of Sleep Hollow which I want to do.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU READING? NOVEMBER 2019

I FINALLY finished Educated.....it did not get better.  As of the October posting I had just finished part 1.  I just didn't find this book believable at all.

I just finished Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware.  I liked this book.  It is a mystery.

I just started After the Eclipse by Sarah Perry......I'm not far enough into the book yet to determine if I like it or not.

Just finished Turn of the Key. Good read for Halloween, but my review is decidedly mixed.

After almost 6 months on WL at the library I finally got Girl, Wash your Face. It's a good, easy read.

Educated was one of my poolside reads this summer. I enjoyed it-thought it was well written. The author is a real champion.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU READING? NOVEMBER 2019

Finished Waiting for Eden last week.

It is one of the most thought provoking books I have ever read.

If you still think of the ending of The Time Travel's Wife, this is the book for you.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU READING? NOVEMBER 2019

Occasionally I stray from my favorite genre of psychological crime thrillers to historical fiction.  CILKA'S JOURNEY by HEATHER MORRIS, a sequel of the TATTOOIST OF AUSCHWITZ is an epic read that I highly recommend!  I won't elaborate more for fear of spoiler info.  This book is a must!

Re: WHAT ARE YOU READING? NOVEMBER 2019

Just finished Catch and Kill by Ronan Farrow-wonderful book and quite eye-opening. It is very balanced, and I believe, factual. Some might never understand the validity of these women's claims, which as a woman makes me very sad as well as angry, but if you read the book, you will at least have more information on which to base your opinion.

I also just finished City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert, which I would also highly recommend. If you are into audio books, Blair Brown gives a fantastic reading.

The New Girl by Daniel Silva. I've read all of his Gabriel Allon books and this one doesn't disappoint. Another winner from him.
