I gave this book 4 stars, mainly because it made hubby laugh and laugh ,after I read the first few lines to him!  After the ending is another little surprise which is unique.  Of all the books I havereadthis year the swearing is way up there. The book is only a 100 pages approximately. THE GROWNUP.,by Gillian Flynn

Finished The Beach Inn by Joanne Demaio, and once again I was transported to Stony Point, Connecticut, a beach town where everything and everyone experiences magic of sea stars, salt air, and sun set beach walks, and friendships that last a lifetime even through tears and heartache,  I absolutely adore this series!

Re: WHAT ARE YOU READING? MARCH 2018

I read two cozy mysteries that came out last fall:  "DEATH IN THE STACKS" by Jenn McKinlay (Library Lovers series) and "A TALE OF TWO KITTIES" by Sofie Kelly (Magical Cats series).  I enjoyed them both, especially the Sofie Kelly book.  The Magical Cats series is just adorable.

I am beginning Earthly Remains by Donna Leon.  This is a Commissario Guido Brunetti Mystery, which is set in Venice.

Since I have been lucky enough to visit Venice, I enjoy the mystery as well as the setting.

I startd reading Terry Pratchett' s Wyrd Sisters, one of his Discworld novels. I read all books by Pratchett, but am reading them again because they're so good.

It's about three witches who get involved in royal politics to help restore a king to the throne. Pratchett has a keen sense of humor and parodies some of Shakespeare in this book. I can't say enough about the Discworld novels. They're recommended for anyone who likes fantasy mixed with humor, a bit of satire and enjoys wild, imaginative writing.

@apple sauce@sunala, and all other Elizabeth Berg fans:

Can you please give me the name of your favorite book by her?  One, two tops.  I have such a full shelf and so many great books.  But I want to read her again, just have to limit it to two tops.  Thanks!
