Have had a Kindle for some years;  but my default mode is almost always to a physical book.  More pleasant to read, for me.  Agree with you, @icezeus about the ease of using libraries.

I love books but after surgery to both wrists I use a 1st  generation kindle oasis. The one you charge the cover. It is small and light and I can hold it in one hand it has buttons to turn the pages and I can just turn it upside down to change hands. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to read my 900 page Stephen King or Elizabeth George books I would have to sit at the kitchen table, could never hold a large book. I bought two of these kindles before they did a 2nd generation Glad I did also have a newer kindle paper white but prefer page turn buttons. Just so happy I can read.    Sonia
