Yes, it's mostly dog paraphenalia in the glass container!

Noticed that you latched on to a series; a cozy, I presume. ๐Ÿ˜€

I love my Kindle, but seeing your beautiful collection of books makes me so nostalgic.  Enjpy all of them;I pity and worry about those who don't enjoy reading

Yes, it is a "cozy,"  Much better written than most, @AuntG

(And notice I did not say some serious reading ahead.)

I have a Kindle, too, @sensibleshoppingsoothes , but I love holding a real book more and more lately.

I love my Kindle too, especially since I have difficulty holding some larger books open for long periods. I just wish the Kindle prices were better. Do you remember when bestsellers were $9.99? Now they are $14.99+. Iโ€™ve had books on my wish list for over a year and they are still full price. I canโ€™t justify spending that much on an ebook.

Wow!  That does look like fun.

I enjoy my local library.  I just checked out a couple that I think I'll actually finish.  And if I don't?  Drop back in the return slot!

Plus, there's the added enjoyment of the always present library drama.  No kidding, I had no idea about the currents of socialization that run through over there.  I could write a book about it!

Iโ€™ve been mixing up library holds in with my own books, as I never know when a hold will arrive. Rarely keep one of my own books once Iโ€™be read it. Will try to do a picture later of mt TBR pile.
