I read in Following the Nerd that:

Wikipedia stated:

"As of May 2016, Stephen King said that the series has been "back-burnered". However, on May 26, 2016, David E. Kelley announced that the series 10 episode series was ready to go and will air via AT&T Universe and Direct TV. Kelley is still slated to serve as producer and show runner alongside Jack Bender. The series is slated to debut in 2018."

@mzlg thanks for the heads up! I didn't hear this news, and I hope that they will go forward with it and that it will be worthy of Stephen King's excellent trilogy!
