The only time I read in a chair is in a doctor's waiting room.

 

I've had a couple whiplash injuries, so laying on my side in bed givee me a chance to "rest" my neck.  I prop my book on top of two pillows and can read like that for hours.  I prefer paperbacks to hard cover books, which are larger and can be more difficult to manuver.

I always read on the bed propped up with pillows so I can put my feet up. Unfortunately reading does not put me to sleep - I am a one more chapter kind of person.
