Pachinko the book and series

I am watching this series and it is very well done.  It is based on the book by Min Jin Lee which was excellent.  It is on Apple TV.

 

If you haven't read the book, I recommend.

@Lilysmom1  I couldn't agree more about the book.  I think it was my favorite book of 2017, the year it was published.

Based on a friend's recommendation, I bought the book and then let it sit.  Finally picked up and couldn't put it down.  A truly wonderful read.  I believe the series is on Apple+ which I don't have but am tempted to subscribe to see it.  Just read a wonderful reivew of the series on The Daily Beast.

@Jannygaz @smoky22 Pachinko was a very good read and the series is true to the book so far.  I should check to see if she has done anything else.
