Don't want to make a big deal out of this but yet I didn't want it to get lost in the comments of the posts of "What Are You Reading."
Can posters please mention the name of the author of the book they are reading or going to read or read? If there's a description of the book in the post I go by that and decide if I want to read but if there's no author I usually don't bother but that's just me. I'm not lazy it's that it's happening more often lately that I do look it up on Amazon and it's not worth it.
TIA.

@SWEET , I just posted about a book without giving the author's name and, when asked for it, discovered there were several books by the same name. My bad. Just lazy. Good request! LM

@Lilysmom, thank you for pointing out about same title, different authors. I should have included that and that was the point I was trying to make and I think when I saw your post that prompted me to initiate this post.

I'm guilty of doing that. Will change my ways. Good suggestion.

Great Suggestion!! While I am going through our What have you read thread, I always have GoodReads open, and when I run across books that others have read or recommended I look them up to see if the book sounds like something that I should add to my TBR list. There are always multiple books with the same name, which is why the authors name helps.

@SWEET Thanks! I copy titles and it takes forever at the library to find them. It makes it easier to just go online to reserve them.

When I used to the library and even know when I do spreadsheets for my books (even though I use Goodreads), I always put the author last name first so I could easily look up books at my library.
