Re: OCTOBER 2021 HAPPY READING TO ALL. LET'S HEAR ABOUT YOUR FAVORITES

I've just finished reading Book I of The Lost Pharaoh Chronicles by Lauren Lee Merewether. The title is Salvation In The Sun. I'm

beginning Book II , Secrets In The Sand. Book III is Scarab In The Storm.

This trilogy is historical fiction beginning with Queen Nefertiti

and her family, her marriage to Akhenaten and the turmoil of his reign in Egypt. The chronicles follow the dynasty through political and religious changes with Book III covering the era of King Tutankhamen.

I have just finished reading, 14th Deadly Sin by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro.

I also posted this on the proboards site. It's super easy ladies. I think it's a good fit. They have even already set up a a sub heading for Books. Where I listed our October thread.

I encourage readers to go over and check it out. It's not difficult at all. Easy set up, easy search features. Look for Melly g on proboards. I can't place the link or they will delete, but run it all together Melly g . proboards . com

Just finished LA Weather, very good book!  Not only does it highlight LA weather, fires, drought, flooding San Ana winds, it follows a family through the good and bad!

Just finished "Ordinary Grace" by William Kent Krueger. 5 Stars.

This a beautifully written coming-of-age novel that takes place in the summer of 1961 in Minnesota. Highly recommended.

I just finished The Inn At Holiday Bay:  Portent in the Pages, Book 16 of the series by Kathi Daley.  Not the best of the series but an easy read.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

I really enjoyed this book too.  It got a really bad rating on Goodreads but thankfully I didn't see it until after I won the book.  I can't remember the reviews now though.
