Book Club

I don't count the number of books I've read; however, Goodreads does the count sort of the end of every year.  I checked my stats and I've read 143 so far.  However, it counts my dnf shelf so deducted those and so far I've read 114.  It's sort of the same as last year but I will compare on 1/1/25. 

How many so far for everyone here?

Exactly the same as last year and the year before. Zero. I'm not a book reader but my husband is another story. He reads constantly and downloads probably 3 or 4 a week.

No idea how many, not a stat I keep.

What I do love to note is how many delicious choices I have waiting to download in Libby.  Loaded up my spare Paperwhite on Monday 🥰

Since last February I have been reading a series of 11 books

by Upton Sinclair .. Historical Fiction .. written between

1945 and 1953 .. I am on the last one ....

I have really enjoyed them .. hate them to come to the

end having spent most of the year with these characters...

I have read other things in between... Reading is my main

hobby ....

Yes, I started this post in the Book Club forum this a.m.

Goodreads does an end of year recap but it's not accurate for me because it includes the books Mr Smoky reads.  We share an Amazon account. He gets most of his books from Kindle Unlimited (which are directly from Amazon).  I get most of my ebooks from the library (some through Amazon directly) but they all go through Amazon and are counted in Goodreads. They list my book count as 137 books, but it's probably more like 70 for just me.

@SWEET Just checked Goodreads and 157 books so far for me this year. More than usual due to many factors.

The Book Club forum is such a great resource. I love seeing what others are reading and have certainly found new material thanks to the posters.
