NEED BOOK LIGHT RECOMMENDATIONS

My trusty book light for years has been a small base adjustable spotlight lamp.   The lamp is in for repairs (wires) and I'm really not sure it's fixable.

I'm looking for a book light to use in bed for night time reading.  Years ago I tried a clip on book light which just didn't work out.  It was too heavy for use on paperback books and kept flopping this way or that.  I threw it out.

I've seen a couple small lights online but am not sure they would be bright enough for my needs.

I happened to notice V38079 here, and wonder if anyone has used this light.  It didn't work for everyone, but nothing does.

Can you give me some feedback .... what has or hasn't worked for bed time reading?     I need ideas and am sure the book lovers here have already been down this road .... and I appreciate any and all suggestions.

TIA   Woman Happy

Re: NEED BOOK LIGHT RECOMMENDATIONS

I've not tried those, but what I like to use are my reading glasses that have small LED lights in the temples. Figured I'm wearing reading glasses anyway. Last few pairs I've bought have been Foster Grants from a drug store when they have a BOGO sale.

Re: NEED BOOK LIGHT RECOMMENDATIONS

I think from Amazon, my husband got one of those forehead lights so he can see when he goes out in the dark for some of his photography.  It goes around the top of the head like a sweatband only not to hold back hair like a gal wears.  That might work.
